Peer review and editorial policy

Peer Review

All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review by at least three referees.

Decision outcomes include:

  • Accept
  • Accept with minor revisions
  • Revise and resubmit
  • Rejection (if out of scope or not meeting the journal’s standards)

Review Timeline: average review timeline 1–2 months

Review Requests: authors may be asked to revise and resubmit their manuscript prior to a final decision.

Research Ethics and Integrity

All participants, including authors, reviewers, and editors, are expected to maintain the highest standards of academic integrity. The journal does not tolerate plagiarism, data manipulation, or other forms of academic misconduct.  

Open Access Policy

EUFIRE journal  is an open-access journal. Authors retain copyright of their work while permitting free distribution and non-commercial use under the Creative Commons Attribution-Non Commercial-No Derivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0).
